In the United Kingdom, we will normally supply software to LEA training centres free of charge, however this is not possible with some of the titles we now offer. Please contact us directly in order to enquire about licence conditions.
Conditions
The licence allows LEA's to install the software to training machines used within the LEA centre for the sole purpose of training teachers or allowing teachers, employed by the LEA, to review the software.
The licence does not allow for the software to be installed onto machines that are:
- Taken out to schools
- Loaned to schools
- Used by training staff/teachers with children in schools
- Used by children for training within the LEA centre
A licence must be purchased for any machines used in any of the aforementioned ways.
We are also increasingly finding both LEA and CLC centres loaning equipment to schools; enabling equipment to be used for 'projects' by schools. In these instances software installed to the computers needs to be correctly licenced.
