

The DataSweet Main Menu (PC)
Age Range: 4 – 14 yrs.
DataSweet has been developed specifically to meet the needs of data handling for schools and is ideally suited for the National Curriculum at Key Stages 1, 2 and 3, Scotland 5-14 and K12.
DataSweet is a powerful, yet clear and easy to use application which means that pupils are able to concentrate on the data handling activities without worrying about the complexity of the software.
The suite comprises of a graph drawing application, DataPlot, a powerful database, DataFind and DataCalc, the spreadsheet.
DataSweet offers schools the opportunity to develop students data handling skills at different levels, making it an ideal solution.

DataPlot allows children to enter data and see the graph updated immediately.
Bar charts, Pie Charts, Line graphs and Scattergrams can be quickly produced. DataPlot can recognise when colours are used as labels and will colour the graph appropriately.
DataPlot is also used to display the graphs produced by the databases and graphs can be exported as a picture file.

DataFind is a template which introduces the concept of fields within records. You can choose to display the records as individual record cards or in a table view.
Fields can be easily edited and new databases created.

DataCalc provides an easy introduction to spreadsheets. An easy-to-use button bar allows formatting of cells, creating simple formulae, saving and graphing and through on screen prompts, easy copying of data.
Currently not included with Mac OS X version
