Latest version for Windows XP, Vista and 7 is version 1.5.0
All current issues with Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 have been addressed in the latest release. If you are experiencing problems, then please download the latest version
On Windows 7 you might find that you will need to install and register I Can Animate using the contextual menu. Right click on the item you wish to run and the context menu will appear. Choose the Run as administrator option.
Version 1.5 has an MSI installer. This includes an application to create the MST file necessary for registration of the software on each client machine. You will not be able to register it without first using this tool. If you require the MSI and MST tool, please contact us.
You will also need to ensure all client machines have the correct software system requirements before attempting to install I Can Animate, This includes .NET 3 and this MSI is available from the Microsoft website.
.Net 3 Frameworks You will need to read and follow the Microsoft installation guidelines.
We have noticed that on some laptops the inbuilt camera tries override I Can Animates option to change cameras. If this happens you will need to disable the camera. Some PC's allow this through My Computer otherwise you will need to go through the Control Panel to disable it.
This problem has been reported by a small number of users and has been fixed in version 1.5
We have identified the problem, and this only seems to happen when multiple clips are involved and large numbers of frames.
If you export your clips individually from an I Can Animate project and then import them into your Movie Maker project then this does not happen.
The error appears to be one that is 'well known' looking at some of the Microsoft support forums, and can appear during installation of software. It is not specific to I Can Animate. The problem appears to be related the registry and dlls see: Forum
There are a number of solutions that are suggested and that can be applied. These not solutions suggested by Kudlian Software Limited.
by running the McAfee removal and cleanup utility downloaded from their website. It set the registry key back correct and probably fixed other future problems.
